The second teen-age suspect in Thursday’s theft of a tip box at the Kiwki-Kleen Car Wash and convenience store in the 700 block of East Yosemite Avenue was located at his high school Friday morning.

Manteca Police patrolman Grant Flory said the sweatshirt  the 15-year-old discarded as he fled over a fence to get away from the three workers from the business matched a surveillance video from the convenience store.

The first teen who was captured at Pine and Sheridan streets shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday was cited out and released to his dad Thursday evening, police said.  He was also to be suspended from school officers said.

The car wash staff members said they had surveyed a four square block area for about 15 minutes before they located the duo walking up Sheridan Avenue.  After they captured the one youth on the lawn of a residence, it was another five minutes before police arrived on the scene.
