Jimmy H. Jones

Air Force Airman Jimmy H. Jones graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Elizabeth Winchell of Ripon.
Jones graduated in 2010 from Ripon High School.

Kaila S. Daniel

Air Force Airman Kaila S. Daniel graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

She is the daughter of Donnell Daniel of Elgin, Ill., and Michelle Daniel of Fairview Way, Lathrop.
Daniel graduated in 2009 from Elgin High School.

Stephen Crane

Marine Corps Stephen A. Bennett, son of Tracy Crane of Manteca and Allen Bennett of Manteca, recently graduated from the Combat Engineer Noncommissioned Officer Course for supervisors.
During the course at Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N. C., students receive instruction in engineering intelligence, reconnaissance, engineering equipment, bridging, demolitions, mine warfare, camouflage, and field fortifications, among other subjects appropriate for their rank in the Marine Corps.
Bennett is a 2008 graduate of Manteca High School of Manteca and joined the Marine Corps in September 2006.

Jacob S. Nobriga

Army Reserve Pvt. Jacob S. Nobriga has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
He is the son of Cori Nobriga and grandson of Roberta Nobriga, both of Manteca.
Nobriga graduated in 2009 from East Union High School.
