Guys who shave their heads can help teen moms in crisis.

The Manteca Pregnancy Help Center is staging Balding for Babies on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their 401 North Main Street location.

Participants collect sponsorships from friends in exchange for having their head shaved, their facial hair shaved or get a military-style haircut.

The participant who collected the most money will win a basket containing a $100 Meinke gift card and other items.

The day will feature the River’s 105.5 FM morning DJ Roman Guzman who will be getting his head shaved while broadcasting at the Help Center.

There will also be raffles, food, face painting and balloons.
