Sister Ann Venita Britto and her Ministry of Caring are gearing up for the Dec. 21 Christmas luncheon for seniors.

They’ve completed the Christmas tree center pieces for the tables along with some of the door prizes to mark the special event scheduled at the St. Anthony Parish gymnasium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sister Ann and her Ministry of Caring will again welcome seniors from throughout the area, regardless of their religious affiliations, to sit down and enjoy a hot Christmas meal with all of the trimmings.

The gym is located at the corner of Fremont and Sutter streets in Manteca.

Live entertainment, birthday recognitions, and meals served by students at St. Anthony’s School are usually part of the event.

Those attending can also enjoy the fellowship of others along with plenty of goodies.

Sister Ann, in addition, is again expecting her usual guests from St. Jude Care Center (formerly Palm Haven Care Center), Prestige Senior Living, Merrill Garden, The Commons, Valley CAPS, and Almond Blossom, to name a few.
