Jesse Noble has a much-anticipated homecoming ahead.

The Manteca product has been stationed in Iraq in the U.S. Army’s 1st Calvary Division Special Troops Battalion.

He’s scheduled to arrive home from Bagdad in mid-April. “But those flight plans can change due to combat relations,” Noble recently said.

If all goes accordingly, he’s looking forward to the family reunion planned for April 26.

“My brother and cousins will be there,” said Crystal Noble, Jesse’s sister, on Monday.

Included are Gavin Minty, who is serving in the U.S. Marine Corp while stationed in Japan, and the former Kimberly Gerber, who was recently wedded out of state.

Jesse Noble, who also made the Who’s Who Registry of Academic Excellence list, according to his sister, was married not too long ago to wife, Mayra.

In addition, he’s had back-to-back military deployments to the Middle East since 2006. Noble attended Granada High in Livermore and Manteca High.

“I grew up in Manteca and call it home,” he said.

The 1st Calvary Division is the largest division of the U.S. Army with over 16,000 soldiers.
