Songs of Shakespeare for kids at Ripon Library

RIPON - Songs Of Shakespeare for Children takes place at the Ripon Branch Library on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m.

Shakespeare’s plays were funny, sad, silly, romantic and often had music and songs to set  the mood. Come and hear the music that made Shakespeare’s plays even better. You may even recognize a few of these tunes. Lynn Sampson of Music First, Inc. has been teaching children about music and its history for years so they will know where popular music started and gain a greater appreciation for all musical forms.

This free program is provided through the generosity of local business and service groups.  The Ripon Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 333 W. Main St. Ripon.
