TULARE — The International Agri-Center has arranged for the Sons of the San Joaquin to perform at the 20th annual California Antique Farm Equipment Show (CAFES) on April 20-22.

Tickets for the evening may be purchased online at www.AntiqueFarmShow.org for $30 and include a barbecued steak dinner.

 The Western harmony of the Sons of the San Joaquin is a rich, burnished vocal blend which has carried the Hannah family from local church and community gatherings to Switzerland, Japan and the Arab peninsula. The group’s dedication to Western heritage has its origin in their deep attachment to the classic sounds of The Sons of the Pioneers-a trio which included Roy Rogers. The Sons of the San Joaquin’s sound first took shape when the family migrated to California’s Central Valley from Missouri during the Depression.

 The 20th annual California Antique Farm Equipment Show will showcase the agriculture industry’s heritage. The show features 900 exhibitors from throughout California and the United States who make the trek to Tulare to display their antique tractors, engines and other antique farm equipment.

 CAFES is one of California’s largest gatherings of antique farm equipment. The show features an antique equipment parade; antique tractor pull; children’s activities; arts and crafts pavilion; swap meet; annual rib cook-off and entertainment for all ages.

 The International Agri-Center is home to World Ag Expo, February 14-16, in Tulare. An estimated annual average of 100,000 individuals from 70 countries attend World Ag Expo each year. The Expo is the largest annual agricultural show of its kind with 1,600 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of show grounds.
