Spring is in the air and so is the Spring Tea & Fashion Show hosted by the Soroptimist International of Manteca.
The second annual event will take place this Saturday beginning at noon at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane.
This year’s co-chairs for the event are Nancy Myatt and Karyn Grissom.
Donation is $25 per ticket, covering the tea luncheon and finger foods. Proceeds will go towards scholarships for graduating seniors.
The fashion show is scheduled to follow.
This year’s theme is spring, with models – included are members of the service organization along with their children along with past Girls of the Month from the local high schools – sporting the latest fashions from the Dress Barn and Maurices, both of Manteca.
The latter is the newcomer to the fashion show. With over 800 stores, including Manteca, Maurices is up on the latest fashion while providing quality, value and customer service. Available at the store are women’s clothes in sizes 1 to 24.
The Dress Barn inspires women to look and feel beautiful, offering high-quality clothes for casual and special occasions.
Tickets can be purchased at Tipton’s Stationery & Gift, 169 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca, or by calling any Soroptimist members including Danette Jarred (209.823.2166).
