RIPON – Elected leaders have National Night Out on their minds tonight.

But before taking part in the events at Community Center, they’ll convene at City Hall for the Ripon City Council meeting.

The session was moved up to 5 p.m. rather than the usual 7 o’clock.

Council members are scheduled to adopt the amendments pertaining to organized activities at city parks and discuss the installation of speed bumps on the Stanislaus River access road at the end of Jack Tone Road.

Other items on the agenda include:

• A resolution that authorizes the transfer of certain municipal funds from the Garbage and Water funds to the Capital Enterprise Funds.

• Another resolution that calls for the transfer of certain municipal funds for street maintenance and repairs.

• A proposal from Aspen Survey to assist with the right-of-way research for the future Well No. 19.

• Awarding the contract to Knife River Construction for the Colony Road overlay project.
