PALO ALTO (AP) — Three people were injured by green paintballs shot from a moving car in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Police are looking for at least two suspects who shot a paintball gun in Palo Alto Tuesday night.
An older man out with a walk with his wife was stuck in the hip. The woman was not hit. Two other pedestrians were also hit in separate incidents.
Paintballs are projectiles that travel at a high speed and can cause serious injury.
Perron says the suspects could face misdemeanor vandalism and misdemeanor battery charges, or felony assault with a deadly weapon if the victims were seriously injured.
