American actress and model Candace “Candy” Clark will appear at Pete Paulsen’s 29th annual Hot Rod Party on Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Paulsen Ranch in French Camp.
It takes place at the Paulsen Ranch in French Camp near the San Joaquin River from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $6 while those 10 and under are free.
Early car entry is $30 while day of the event it jumps to $40. The show is for all years American made or powered.
Clark is well known for her role as Debbie Dunham in the classic film “American Graffiti”. It’s a role that received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has also been in many other movies such as the 1976 film “The Man Who Fell to Earth” with costar David Bowie, as well as the 1988 film “The Blob”.
Throughout Clark’s career she also made appearances on various television shows such as the 1985 hit series “Magnum P.I.”, as well as “Matlock” and also most recently in the 2017 series “Twin Peaks”.
Clark will be holding a meet and greet as well as signing autographs for her many fans at this year’s Hot Rod Party.
Other special guests include John D’Agostini and his car “Rita”, DJs Johnny T & Wolfie, the Port City Roller Girls, and Harley the hugging dog.
The Hot Rod Party features vendors, tri-tip BBQ by Fagundes, hot dogs, and a live auction at 2 p.m.
Proceeds benefit various charities.
