CLOVIS  (AP) — A Central California drive-thru coffee shop with scantily clad baristas is renaming some of its drinks after complaints that the original names were too racy.

Alexandra Ireland, co-owner of Bottom’s Up coffee shop in Clovis, told the Fresno Bee on Monday she wants to be a good neighbor and doesn’t think it’s worth fighting over.

A resident, Candice Eslick, led a petition drive against the old names and the baristas’ attire, prompting city officials to review the shop’s practices.

Eslick told the Bee she was satisfied with the name changes.

The city attorney’s office said its review found the coffee shop, even with the old names, was not violating guidelines or rules.
