SACRAMENTO (AP) — The body of a convicted graffiti tagger has been found over the weekend and police believe he fell to his death after spray-painting a bridge.
The Sacramento Bee reports that 22-year-old Andrey Petkov was discovered by a street sweeper on Saturday morning beneath a freeway bridge.
Petkov was convicted in 2009 for vandalism in connection with a group accused of about 300 cases of tagging that caused $80,000 in property damage.
Police say Petkov used the tag "nose" and bape." He also was convicted in 2009 and 2011 of graffiti vandalism.
