MODESTO — Two holiday events will benefit the McHenry Mansion.

Food and Craft Vendors will be on 15th Street and McClatchy Square from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3.

The McHenry Mansion will be decorated in all its’ holiday refinery. Free walk through tours from 9 a.m., closing at 4 p.m. Mansion Docents will be on hand in each room. Carolers will sing on the front porch beginning at noon.

Horse-drawn wagon rides will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $3 for adults and $2 for children

McHenry Mansion Candlelight Tours are Friday, Dec. 16, and Sunday, Dec. 18.

Walk through tours through the holiday decorated Mansion lit by candles, kerosene lamps and gas lights. Costumed enactors will be on hand in various rooms. Refreshments served in the basement. Tours begin at 5:30 p.m. with the last entrance at 8 p.m.  The cost is $5 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the McHenry Mansion Gift Store either in advance or just before the tour.
