HEMET (AP) — Police say a Hemet man had to dodge bullets after confronting a neighbor for peeing in the bushes outside an apartment complex.

Charles Michael Bourdon, 21,  is under arrest on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Lt. Eric Dickson says the shooting took place shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, when the neighbor came outside to stop Bourdon from urinating in the shrubbery.

Authorities allege Bourdon pulled a semi-automatic handgun and fired two rounds at the neighbor’s home. Police were called and arrested Bourdon.
