LOS ANGELES (AP) — A family member has identified a 24-year-old man who died after he was ejected from a party bus and struck by vehicles on Highway 101 near Universal Studios.
City News Service reports the father of C.J. Saraceno says he was told his son was changing the music near the front of the bus when it turned, causing him to fly through the door.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday in the freeway’s southbound lanes. California Highway Patrol says the victim was ejected from the limousine bus and landed on the freeway. He was subsequently struck by motorists.
It was unknown how fast the bus was traveling.
No one has been arrested.
The victim had moved to Los Angeles from Connecticut two years ago.
