Advance registration for the 206 Mud Run on the Farm ends Monday, May 16.
The Dell’Osso Family Farms’ annual 5K obstacle-course run is on Saturday, May 22, at the site of the Pumpkin Maze along Interstate 5 at 501 Manthey Road, in Lathrop. The entry fee is $75 to the event open to thise 12 years and older. Those who are 12 or 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult (parent or guardian) participant.
The 5K course features approximately 24 obstacles, designed to be difficult, but certainly not impossible. It also promises to be an outrageous good time. If there’s an obstacle that’s too much for you, go around. Personal safety is the most important thing. But completion of the obstacles is required to win fast time.
Dell’Osso Family Farm will be donating a portion of the proceeds to benefit The American Cancer Society and other local charity and non-profit organizations.
Mudders will receive a commemorative T-shirt and finisher’s medal, post-race “Beer Garden” with one free beer (only for Mudders 21 years and older), plenty of prizes, and trophies.
Because of the large number of participants, the Mud Run must start in waves. The first wave goes off at 8 a.m. Participants select their wave time during the registration process. If mudders want to run with a friend or group, they need to be sure to book at the same time or have one person purchase all the individual tickets. Waves are capped at 300 runners. It’s recommend that participants arrive at least an hour before their wave time begins.
 Wave times: 8:00 a.m., 8:20 a.m., 8:40 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 9:20 a.m., 9:40 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 10:20 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:20 a.m., 11:40 a.m., and noon.,
Time-slots are filling up – some are already sold out.
Each wave consists of both men and women from every age group. You may register for any available wave.
