YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK  (AP) — San Francisco is getting full hydroelectric power again from Yosemite National Park after the last of two power plants shuttered during the Rim Fire reopened.

The city fired up the Holm Powerhouse on Monday. Holm and Kirkwood, the other plant, closed in August, as the fire raged nearby.

Kirkwood reopened in early September. But Holm was damaged and had to have its roof repaired.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission spent roughly $860,000 buying power on the open market while the plants were down.

Both plants are fed in all or part by the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, the only one inside the boundaries of a national park. The Rim Fire burned 400 square miles. It was ignited by a hunter's fire on Aug. 17.
