FOLSOM  (AP) — A sonar expert has suspended the search for the wreckage of a plane that crashed in Folsom Lake nearly 50 years ago.

After spending three days using sonar on the lake, Gene Ralston said Tuesday the search was being called off because he didn't have good information of where the plane went into the water.

The search is being conducted on behalf of Frank Wilcox, whose brother was aboard the plane when it crashed on Jan. 1, 1965. Four people were aboard the aircraft, but only one body was recovered at the time.
