SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Authorities say two men were injured in a car-to-car shooting on a San Francisco freeway.
San Francisco police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza says men from one vehicle fired on the two men in the other at the connector of Interstate 280 and U.S. 101 about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Esparza says one man was hit in the torso and leg and the other in the neck or head. The men, both in their 20s, were taken to a hospital. Both are expected to survive.
Police were still seeking the suspect and asking for witnesses who might have seen the shooting to come forward.
The freeway was shut down for nearly two hours in the area for the investigation before reopening.
