LOS ANGELES (AP) — A woman is suing a University of Southern California fraternity because a drone fell on her head while it was photographing a frat party.
City News Service says Alina Pituch filed the negligence and liability suit Tuesday against Pi Kappa Phi’s Delta Rho chapter and an event-planning company.
Pituch says she was at a “Glow Party” in the backyard of the frat house last October when a drone being used to photograph the event fell on her head, opening bloody wounds.
The lawsuit says she was treated at a hospital but has permanent scarring on her head and forehead, and suffers headaches that affect her ability to study.
USC wasn’t named in the suit.
