Manteca venues offer Super Bowl parties

You can score big this Sunday if you want to mix Super Bowl with food and fun at various Manteca venues.

Rocko’s Sports and Spirits has conducted a Super Bowl Sunday crab feed for the last five years. Advance sale tickets to the event are already sold olt. There may be a limited number of tickets available at the door depending on how many people show up, but it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of admittance is $30 for the dinner. A price to just watch the game has yet to be decided.

They aren’t the only ones planning a feast for the showdown between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers – two of the most storied franchises in the National Football League.

Chez Shari – located upstairs at the Manteca Gold Course – wlll be showing the game on the big screen for the 11th year. They will have a wide assortment of fingerhood out for free as long as somebody purchases a beverage.

One of Manteca’s newest restaurants, Matt N’ Bee’s Grill located in the old Big Boy shopping center,  plans  on showing their flat screen televisions and offering some food specials but aren’t planning on going to the extremes when it comes to menu options.

Kelly Brothers is planning a tailgate party starting at 2 p.m. along with a buffet and raffle prizes. Tickets to the event are $10 each. They can be purchased in advance by stopping in at the downtown Manteca location in the 100 block of East Yosemite.
