Tacos & Tequila Friday for St. Anthonys School

St. Anthony’s School 3rd Annual Tacos and Tequila Event is this Friday, Oct. 10, from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Last year’s Tacos & Tequila event attracted close to 350 attendees. It is expected to sell out this year. It takes place in the St. Anthony’s School gymnasium located at 323 N. Fremont St., Manteca. Dinner will be served from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy tacos from Taqueria La Estrella, Taqueria La Hacienda and Ricas Taquizas. Tequila tastings will also be available.

Music for the evening will be provided by the Mike Torres Band, one of the most popular Latino bands in Northern California. Tickets for the event are $25 per person which includes three tacos, rice, beans and one complementary non-alcoholic drink.

Dinner is being provided by Taqueria La Estrella that is donating 100% of their food and services. Professional Bartending Services are being provided by Claudia Ramirez and Danny Erb of Las Casuelas, who are donating their time and services to this event. Main sponsors for the event include American Chevrolet in Modesto, Meineke Car Care Center in Manteca, Tracy Signs, Inc. in Tracy, Bella’s Furniture in Modesto, DBI Beverage San Joaquin, numerous local businesses, and families and staff at St. Anthony’s School. This year’s chairpersons are Jennifer Dalen, Desiree Aguirre, Jennifer Carranza and Monica Paez.
