RIPON — The Ripon Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the City of Ripon will be kicking off this holiday season with the Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting on Monday, Nov. 28.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. and include music by Sweet Harmony Chorus, and hot chocolate and cookies provided by Barnwood Restaurant and Catering. Pastor Glen Shirk of Ripon Grace Brethren Church will be offering a Season Blessing and Miss Ripon 2011, Taylor Ray, will be lighting the tree.

Bring your family and friends to the Mistlin Fountain Park located at 121 Oak Ave. (corner of East Main and Oak Avenue – across from the Shell station and the Barnwood Restaurant) and join in on the fun.
