Library Park has been transformed into a winter wonderland as part of the initial Trees in the Park event.
The 25 trees were sponsored and decorated by various civic groups and families. You can vote for your favorite tree at a penny a vote. The winning tree will receive best of show award while the “votes” will go to the Manteca/Lathrop Boys & Girls Club.
The trees will be at the park through Jan. 2.
Angie Hansen and her mother Edie Camacho made trees in the Park possible. They wanted to start a family event to celebrate Christmas in the community.
Santa will be on hand tonight from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
There is no admission to attend the event.
