Sister Ann Venita Britto and her Ministry of Caring are preparing for the upcoming Valentine Senior Luncheon.
“We’ll be celebrating the love of giving and sharing with our senior citizens,” she said on Thursday.
Sister Ann is expecting over 300 to attend the Wednesday, Feb. 10, event at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church gymnasium.
Many are expected to come from Manteca senior homes, nursing facilities and assisted living places such as Merrill Gardens, Palm Haven, Prestige, Park Haven, Almond Blossom, El Rancho, Almond Terrace and Almond Court.
In addition, Sister Ann’s list often includes guests from Stockton, Tracy, Ripon and Linden.
The luncheon is planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with all seniors invited regardless of their religious affiliation.
The Jubilee Singers will also perform.
