Victorious Elite Allstars (VEA) Competitive Cheerleaders and Dancers competed at the Xtreme Spirit International Championship on April 21 where they earned four first place trophies.

With their innovative dance moves, jaw-dropping stunts and high-energy tumbling, they took the coveted “Celebrity Swag” award, the Level Champions Title and Grand Champions Title.

“Hard work, dedication and team work are the keys to our success,” said coach Amy Acaya. “Our athletes practice at least six hours a week perfecting their skills and routines on top of maintaining honor roll at school.  I am so proud to have such an awesome group of kids.”

VEA is a non-profit organization based in Manteca that serves the local community from ages 2 to adult.  Many athletes have no prior cheer or tumbling experience before becoming a part of VEA. But with the highly trained professional team of cheer, tumbling and dance instructors, these athletes quickly learn how to challenge their fears and work toward their potential. VEA has a practice facility with over 7,000 square feet, three spring floors, training equipment and a tumble track.

VEA also offers tumbling and technique classes, cheer camps and clinics, custom choreography, Kenpo Karate, Eskrima Martial Arts, boot camp fitness training, Zumba, Special Needs cheer, parent/adult cheer team and birthday parties.

Open registration for the 2012-13 season takes place Monday-Thursday between 5 and 8 p.m. VEA will also have a registration booth at the Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 12, from 7 to 11 a.m. at the CVS Pharmacy parking lot on N. Main Street as well as a performance and booth at the Memorial Day Celebration at Woodward Park on Sunday, May 27.
