John Vigallon found last week’s Great Pumpkin Hunt pumpkin in the landing at the former Qualex building owned by the City of Manteca at 555 Industrial Park Drive.

He used a flashlight to locate the pumpkin in the predawn hours to secure the $100 prize from the Manteca Bulletin.

A fourth pumpkin was hidden last night while a bonus pumpkin hunt will appear in Wednesday’s Bulletin on Halloween.

The clues from Week No. 4:

• This used to be a Kodak moment. - This refers to the former Qualex building at 555 Industrial Park Drive that processed film for years as a division of Kodak.

• An industrious location. - A reference to the building being within the Manteca Industrial park.

• Police plans didn’t develop. - The City of Manteca had planned to convert the building to a police station after they purchased it but a change in state rules requiring any new police stations to have a holding facility staffed 24/7 which would have added $600,000 a year to the city’s budget prompted the project to be scrapped.
