Willett endorse Salazar as his replacement in upcoming San Joaquin District Attorney race

STOCKTON — San Joaquin District Attorney Jim Willett has officially endorsed Tori Verber Salazar to replace him as San Joaquin County’s District Attorney.

“Tori Verber Salazar’s 25 years of experience in the District Attorney’s Office make her uniquely qualified to be our next District Attorney,” said Willett. “Her dedication, professionalism and commitment to seeking justice and serving our community leave me feeling secure in the fact that the Office of District Attorney will be in excellent hands.”

Tori Verber Salazar is a tough and respected criminal prosecutor who has worked 25 years with the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office. In 2006, Tori joined the Gang-Homicide Unit, bringing to justice some of San Joaquin County’s most dangerous and hardened criminals.
