Woodward Ave. closure coming up
Placeholder Image

The City of Manteca will close Woodward Avenue in half mile sections to through traffic starting on Monday, Aug. 1, for a period lasting up to 14 months. Only a half mile section of Woodward Avenue will be closed at a time. Woodward Avenue will remain partially open to local traffic only during all phases of construction, but delays should be expected.

This road closure is needed to install a deep sewer line and storm drain  line being constructed by Floyd Johnston Construction. The City funded project involves installing  pipe segments of 30-inch sewer main line and 54-inch storm drain main line on Woodward Avenue, from Galleria Drive to Main Street.

Detours will be provided to route traffic around the road closures, and access will be provided for emergency service vehicles at all times.

If you have any questions, call Dan Eavenson, MCR Engineering, at 239-6229.
