Adela P. Menchaca passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family who deeply loved her, on the 2nd of June 2012 in the home of her son Robert Menchaca.

Adela was born on the 1st of October 1943, in the city of San Bernardino, CA. She graduated from San Bernardino High and continued her education at Bethany Bible School where she met the man she forever loved, Pastor Jose A. Menchaca, Sr.

During her life she touched the lives of many including her immediate family. She lived a life that inspired many people showing to be a true and faithful woman of God no matter what obstacles came about. Adela was a bilingual teacher and an ordained minister, who pastored a church, "Cathedral of Miracles", after the passing of her husband.

Adela is survived by her father Antonio Placencia, five brothers, three sisters, her five children; son Pastor Angel and Darmaris Menchaca, daughter Lydia Menchaca, son  Robert and Rebecca Menchaca, son Albert and Monica Menchaca, son  Gilbert and Alicia Menchaca Sr., 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Christian Worship Center,  786 Button Ave., Manteca, at 6 pm followed by a short service Monday, June 11, 2012 at Christian Worship Center at 10am and laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Rd. in Manteca.
