Alfred D. Ortiz was born on March 1, 1927 in Manteca, CA and entered into rest on May 3, 2017 at St. Judes Care Center in Manteca.
 Alfred is survived by his loving family, children David Ortiz, Donnie Ortiz (Karen), Phyllis Nelson (Jeff), and Kristena Lawson. He was blessed with two grand- daughters, Amanda Raposa (Tim) and Kimberly Ortiz. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren Paisley, Kiptyn and Braxtyn Raposa and Griffen and Kaydence Immediado.
  Alfred was a Korean War veteran, serving his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He worked at Supermold in Stockton and retired from the State of California.
  Park View Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ortiz family.  A visitation will be held on May 13, 2017 from 11:30am to noon, followed by a military graveside service at noon at 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca.
  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Judes Care Center or the Asera Hospice of Stockton, CA.
