Alice M. Crawford, 87, entered into rest on December 31, 2012 in Modesto, California. She was born on February 9, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA. She joins her husband Dick Crawford in heaven, who she was married to for over 58 years.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by her three children Sharon Tuttle, Jenny Hosfelt and Mark Crawford. She was blessed with five grandchildren Rachael Malooney (Patrick), Sarah Cornwell (Brian), Tiffany Giambelluca, Luke Crawford (Amanda), Monica Mayhan (Jim) and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Thelma Willingham, Bill Crawford (Joann) and Sandy Sonyda-Coffman.

Alice was a resident of Manteca since 1956. She was a faithful member at Calvary Community Church where she dedicated herself to volunteering and helping others. She was talented at needle point, embroidery, and designing stuffed bears. Alice was the perfect example of a devoted mother and grandmother. She was extremely nurturing to everyone she came in contact with. Her giving heart never went un-noticed as she always found a way to help others. Her kind and grateful attitude towards others was the essence of a true woman of God. She will be missed.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Crawford family. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. held at P.L .Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. A service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also held at P.L. Fry & Son.
