Allen Lavern Flowers, 83, of Manteca CA, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024, surrounded by family. Born on August 10, 1941, in Ann Arbor Michigan, Al dedicated over 50 years of his life to his passion for construction and home improvement as the owner of Al's Remodeling and Construction. His work ethic was widely admired, and he was dedicated to teaching others his craft.
He was a devoted husband for more than six decades, and together they raised a loving family. Al is survived by his wife Freda Flowers, four children Cindy Farris, Joan Muschott (William), Joe Flowers (Susan), Sandra Wendell (Kelly), nine grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply.
An avid NASCAR fan, Al passionately supported Kyle Larson, donning full #5 gear during races. He loved a cold beer, his snacks, vintage cars and had a colorful vocabulary. He could fix anything and was known for his inventions and innovative uses for duct tape.
Al was not just a hard worker; he was a compassionate man who would give you the shirt off his back. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and kindness.
A celebration of Al’s life will be held on October 20th at the Manteca Senior Center. Family and friends are invited to gather from 1 PM to 4 PM to share memories and honor the legacy of a truly remarkable man. Lunch and storytelling will begin at 1 PM, so please stop by to share your favorite “Pa” story.<f$><z$>
