Alton was a Manteca resident for over 65 years. He worked for Manteca Unified School District as a truck driver for their food service department. Alton raised all of his children in Manteca. He made sure that his children always had a secure home to live in and worked hard enough so his wife Faye could stay home with their children, which was a true blessing. Alton never met a stranger. He always found a friend in anyone who crossed his path. He had a great sense a humor and it showed till his very last days.  Alton’s Christian Faith was never left unnoticed. He was a 40-year member of the Church Of Christ in Stockton. Family was always number one on his list. He cherished every moment he would spend with his wife and children. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of his eye. They brought so much joy to his life. He held a special place in his heart for his long- time friend, Lupe Archibeque whom he considered a daughter. In addition Alton felt blessed to have the best care givers; Christine Guerrero and Jayne Schwery.
