Andres Duarte Cano, 89, of Manteca, California, passed away on December 31, 2015.  Andres was born in San Quintin, Baja California on November 26, 1926.
Andres was married to Dahlia Zarate Cano on March 4, 1966. They were married almost 50 years.
   Andres worked in the automotive industry for most of his life. He owned a filling station in Los Angeles and also in San Jose where he eventually met the love of his life.  He enjoyed working on cars, tending his garden and roses, and caring for his family. He was an example of service to others where he gave until his last breath.  He made friends easily and would share stories.  He had an infectious smile that would brighten any day.
   Andres is survived by his wife, Dahlia Cano, his four children Michael, Jason, Carolyn, and Richard, all of Manteca, California, and his five grandchildren, and other family and friends.
   Andres is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo Cano and Facundo Duarte and numerous brothers and sisters.
