Surrounded by her loving family Angelina Hernandez, 74, entered into rest on March 26, 2021. She was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1946 in New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her brother Leo Maestas and daughter Kelly Romero. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her family, husband of 37 years Ricardo Hernandez, mother Emily Maestas, two sisters, Emily and Dolores and children, Roberta Garcia Gooch, Gloria Archuleta, Lorraine Romero, Anna Ramirez, Joseph Royal Romero, Angelina Franco, Felicia Grimaldo, Arturo Ramirez and Joseph Romero. In addition, Angelina is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Angelina made her home in Manteca for the past 18 years. She was a faithful member of Central Valley Baptist Church. Before moving to Manteca Angelina worked as a Teachers Aide in Santa Clara County and retired after 10 years of service. Angelina loved the Lord, she found serenity in reading God’s word, going to weekly bible studies, listening to Christian music and watching Christian movies. She was devoted to her family and loved unconditionally. Angelina’s cooking and baking made family get-togethers exceptionally memorable; everything was made with grateful heart. She will be remembered for her giving heart and her love she exemplified towards the Lord.
P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Hernandez family. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Central Valley Baptist Church, 10948 S. Airport Way, Manteca, CA. She will be laid to rest at Ripon Cemetery.
