Annette Dumlao, 70, entered into rest on September 22, 2010 in Manteca, California. She was born on February 24, 1940 in Stockton, California. She is preceded in death by her sister Norma Hoffman.

Ms. Dumlao is survived by her children; Doug McAvoy of Tracy, Duane Smith of Stockton, Bruce Smith of Grass Valley, and Donna McCutcheon of Waterford. She was blessed by 4 grandchildren Shawna Brunold of Ripon, Sierra Smith of Manteca, James Smith of Grass Valley and Elliot McAvoy of Tracy. She also has 3 great-grandchildren Hefti Brunold IV of Ripon, Zander Smith of Grass Valley and Zachary Smith of Grass Valley. In addition Annette has 4 surviving siblings Virgil White of Florida, James Coveney of Idaho, Carolyn Techeria of Los Banos, and David Coveny of Idaho.

Annette was a resident of Manteca for the past 70 years. She was an employee of Heinz for over 25 years in Tracy, California.  She loved taking care of her cats and enjoyed her family. She will be remembered as a courageous woman who was extremely independent. She will be missed.

Annette’s services are being handled by P.L .Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. In honor of her a graveside service will be held on Monday September 27, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Ripon Cemetery.
