Antonio “Tony” Reyes Muñoz age 59, passed away Thursday November 9, 2017.    He is survived by his companion, Marcela Bonilla, his mother Maria Refugio, his sons Jose Antonio, Manuel, and Salvador, his grand- children and many close friends.
   Tony was preceded in death by his daughter Claudia and niece Andrea.
   Tony was born in Tuxpan Nayarit, Mexico and moved to California as a young boy. He attended East Union High School in Manteca, where he played football. He worked as a welder and mechanic at Holly Sugar in Tracy.
   Tony enjoyed watching sports, especially football and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. He liked visiting local fruit and vegetable stands to try the different produce in season and chat and share stories with the vendors. He also enjoyed history and discussing sport politics.
Tony had a passion for cooking and entertaining. He loved visiting family in Mexico and bringing back different fish and shrimp to cook. Tony always had nicknames for all his loved ones. Everyone will treasure thinking about the creative nicknames Tony made up.
   Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Avenue, Tracy, is honored to serve the Muñoz family. A rosary will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation hours between 5:00-9:00 p.m.    Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Avenue, Tracy.
   Tony will be laid to rest at the Tracy Public Cemetery. An online guest book is available at www.frymemorialchapel.com for condolences and special messages to the family.
