Arnold “Arnie” John Weibel, was peacefully called home by his heavenly father on May 27th, 2016.  He was born April 10th, 1923 in S. Dakota.  His family moved to Lodi, CA in 1939 where he worked for Cain Electric.  He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he was trained as an electrical engineer until the war ended in 1946.  
   Returning home Arnie, his brother Bill and Mike Gianni opened  A & B Electric Motor Shop in Manteca.  In 1961 he married the love of his life, Sarah Mondello at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Lodi.  They moved to Manteca where they built their home and started a family.  They were parishioners of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for 56 years.
   For over 40 years, Arnie took great pride in building relationships with the local farmers, keeping their ranches and dairy farms running smoothly.  His good reputation preceded him.  Honesty, hard work and unfailing dedication is what you could always expect from A & B Electric.
   He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.  They loved traveling in their 5th wheel, meeting up with friends all across the US.  Lake Tahoe was his favorite place to vacation with his family.
   He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah, parents John and Clara Weibel, siblings, Margaret Boster, William Weibel, Pauline Burris and John Weibel, Jr.  He leaves behind two daughters Caroline Rosete and Maria (David) Boeckle, grandson, Eric (Christy) Rosete and two great-granddaughters Leighton and Hailey Rosete, all of Las Vegas.   Siblings, Ann Hatzenbuhler of Concord, Rosie Scagliotti of San Jose, Lucy Landucci of Stockton and Betty (Gene) Ross of Atlanta, GA and many nieces and nephews.
   Viewing will be on Thursday, June 16th, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cherokee Funeral Home in Lodi.  Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m.  A celebration of life mass will be held on Friday, June 17th, at10:30 a.m. at
St. Anthony’s Church, in Manteca.
