“Bea” age 92, was born in Pueblo, CO on November 8, 1919 to Josephine Mary Merhar and Louis Erjavec. The family moved from Denver to Livermore in 1962. Besides raising “three” boys, husband Carl and two sons, Bea worked most of her life retiring from her job with the City of Livermore in 1981. Carl and Bea moved to Camellia Gardens Manteca in 1989, but Carl died in 1994. She was a proficient computer user and active member of the homeowners association, a Genealogy group, and a volunteer with St. Anthony’s Church, the Blood Bank and the Manteca Senior Center. In 2011 she moved to Merrill Gardens in Fremont. Bea died peacefully on Sept. 27th.
Bea is survived her by brother Don Erjavec of Lakewood, CA, son Larry Sabo of Richmond, KY, granddaughters Kelly, great grandchildren Emily, Alex and Wendy, great grandchildren Thomas, Justin and Conner, and son Jerry Sabo of Fremont, granddaughter Kyla, great granddaughter Lena and grandson Devin.
Viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday Oct. 8, and Rosary 7:00 p.m. at Callaghan Mortuary in Livermore. Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Church in Livermore on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 10a.m. Callaghan Mortuary, 925 447-2942
