Betty Grace den Dulk was born on March 13, 1931 in Modesto, California and entered into heaven on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in Ripon at the age of 92. Betty Grace was born to John and Susie Nykamp and was the oldest of two daughters. She was a lifelong resident of Ripon and attended Ripon
Christian Schools, graduating in 1949. She married Bud den Dulk on March 10, 1950. Betty Grace became a member at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church shortly after her marriage to Bud. She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with Bud, her children, and grandchildren. Betty Grace and her husband Bud enjoyed traveling together and often opened their home to family and friends. Betty Grace was creative by nature and enjoyed spending her spare time oil painting, crafting, and sewing clothing for her son and four daughters. She had an unwavering faith in
the Lord Jesus Christ and taught her children at a young age to love the Lord, while understanding the
importance of prayer and church attendance. Her relationship with the Lord and her family were most
important to her.
Betty Grace was preceded in death by Bud, her beloved husband of 61 years and her only sister Alice and Alice’s husband, Joe Steigenga. She is survived by her children, Bonnie and Dale DeBie, Shirley and John Reyneveld, Lorie and Ed Machado, Nancy and Tim Bunnell and John and Melody den Dulk;
along with her grandchildren Lisa and Greg Bauman, Krista and Richard Kohl, Monica and Dan Caetano,
John and Melissa Reyneveld, Kelly Tenente, James and Brittany Reyneveld, Eddie and Mindi Machado,
Elayna and Matt Ng, Meagan Mayfield, Ron and Karen Machado, Fred and Lori Bunnell, Susan and Chris Green, Kurt and Brittany Bunnell, Scott Bunnell, Natalie and Adam Merrill, Danielle and Brad Hoekzema, Arie and Kourtney den Dulk; and her 38 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Edith den Dulk, Alice den Dulk and Audrey and Bill Hekman.
A graveside service will be held on September 30th, at 10:00 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery followed by a
memorial service at
11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church.
