Betty Lee Trout, age 83, entered into rest on January 28, 2012 at Doctor’s Hospital in Manteca. She was born on October 16, 1928 in Nebraska she was a resident of Manteca since 1959. Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Trout and her son, Michael Trout.
Betty is survived by her children Lisa Mattos, Mark Trout and Robert Trout. Her siblings are Alfa Rachuy, Joellen Siemers, Joyce Becklus and Elizabeth Walter. Betty is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she adored.
Betty was an active member of United Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer for SJ County Hospital’s new born nursery; where she would rock and cuddle babies that did not have mothers. She also volunteered at the Manteca Library and at Manteca’s well-baby clinic for many years. She worked for the DVI Credit Union for 10 years in the accounting department. She was an extremely active person who loved to keep busy, Betty enjoyed reading, sewing, singing, and going to plays. She was devoted to her family and was even nominated “Family of the Year” in Manteca at one time. Betty will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at 11am at United Lutheran Church 649 Northgate Dr. Manteca, CA.
