BeverlySnyder-Mezzanares, 80, of Manteca, passed away April 17, 2020. She was born October 18, 1939 to Loman and Thelma Anderson in Tennessee, and spent her childhood and young adulthood in Merced, CA, before she moved to Manteca, where she has resided for the last 50 years. Beverly is survived by her children, David Counts of Carson, WA, Sharon Hernandez, of Le Grand, CA and Jason Snyder, of Escalon, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great- grandchildren who loved their gramma Bev immensely. Beverly was predeceased by her husband Al Mezzanarez, son Kenny Snyder and daughter M’chelle Soria. Beverly loved life and spending time with her family and friends meant everything to her. Also, Mondays in Jackson playing her favorite machine, Tuesday Tops night, Wednesday and Thursday activities at the Senior Center and playing cards or bunko in the evenings, ending the week with Spaghetti dinners with her grandchildren. She was always happy to join in. She loved to bake at holiday time and made so many treats sharing with everyone. Her niece, Debbie Bridges, spent many hours in the kitchen learning the craft of the perfect apple butter and grandma Thelma's chocolate pie. Her grandchildren will always remember her apple pie, and funny rhyming songs including the chicken dance, as well as all of the beautiful handmade birthday cards. Bev was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Her celebration of life will be announced in the coming months. The family insists that people make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, as Beverly donated monthly to them for the last 17 years, in lieu of sending flowers.
