Carl Anthony Joaquin, 85, passed away surrounded by his family on December 2, 2020 in Manteca, California.
   Carl leaves behind his devoted wife of 65 years, Bealy. Carl was blessed with four children, Richard (Karen) Joaquin of Manteca, Leonard (Vicki) Joaquin of Manteca, Donna (Anthony) Flores of Manteca and Randy (Angela) Joaquin of Manteca. He was blessed with six grandchildren, Richard (Lindsey) Joaquin, Brandon Joaquin, Jenna Joaquin, Kristen Flores (Hector), Jillian Grant and Kaylee Joaquin and four great-grandchildren, Taytum, Teagan, Lily, Bryce, Anthony Jr and Elizabeth Barrera (Joel).  He is preceded in death by his brother, Melvin and is survived by his brother, Manuel of Clovis.
   Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking.  A hardworking and generous man. If someone was in need, he would always be there to lend a helping hand.  He was a long time member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and was extremely active in the Parish serving as President of the Young Men’s Institute. He and his wife devoted countless hours to St. Vincent DePauls Society. A very proud member Teamsters #439 for forty years.  He continued his support after his retirement to hold the position as “President of the Retired Teamsters Union.”  Carl was a proud to be a professional truck driver. During his career he enjoyed participating in Truck Roadeo’s throughout California, where he was a three-time State Champion.
   Above all else, his family was his number one priority. He was a dedicated husband to Bealy, his bride of over 65 years. Together they raised their children and devoted countless time to their grandchildren. Carl took pride in watching all the events that his grandchildren participated in. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
   P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the Joaquin family.  An outdoor funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11a.m.  at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
