Carl Robert Willhoft, of Manteca, California, passed away on February 12,
2018 in Stockton, California while residing at Golden Living Center long term care for Alzheimers/Dementia.
   Carl was born in Walthill, Nebraska on July 23,1934.  He attended college at San Francisco State University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Carl raised his family in the Santa Rosa area.  
  He made his living in real estate as a mortgage broker.  After retiring  from real estate, he was a beloved substitute teacher and only stopped substituting due to his illness. Carl received a diagnosis of Alzheimers/ Dementia in 2015. He loved the San Francisco 49ers and had a larger than life personality and infectious smile!
   Carl is survived by his wife of 24 years, Betty Willhoft.  Carl is also survived by his three children, Mark Willhoft, Kristi Willhoft, and Karla Willhoft Zozulia and his seven grandchildren, Mike, Alex, Krista and Nicole Zozulia, Megan Willhoft, and Alan and Jack Petterle.
   Carl lived in the Del Webb community in Manteca for about 10 years and attended Calvary Community Church.  He was well loved and will be deeply missed.
   Carl’s celebration of life service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Calvary Community Church, 815 W. Lathrop Rd., Manteca, CA 95336 at
11:30 am.
