Carol Ann Kent, 70, entered into rest on January 17, in Manteca. She was born on August 8, 1939 in Portland Oregon. She was a Manteca resident for over 24 years.
Mrs. Kent is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Warren Kent of Manteca. Her children are Scott Harnsberger of Manteca, Robbie Price of Sacramento, Shelly Arnold of Arkansas, Teresa Copeland of New Mexico, Raymond Kent of Crescent City, and Jerry Kent of Crescent City. She has one brother Peter Reiling of Oregon. In addition Carol was blessed by 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Carol retired from the technology industry after 34 years of service. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center in Manteca crocheting and knitting. She had many friends throughout the Manteca community. In Carol’s younger years, motorcycle trips across the United States were always extreme adventures with her husband and children. Besides motorcycle trips Carol enjoyed traveling in her RV with family and friends. She was an avid collector of Disney memorabilia. She found peacefulness while tending her plants and flowers in her yard and was extremely gifted at arts and crafts. Carol will be remembered as a spunky lady who had a zest for life. Her unconditional love for her children, grandchildren, and husband will never be forgotten.
Mrs. Kent’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 30, at 11 a.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. She will be laid to rest in a private family service at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine, Ca.
