Carol Jean Guillory passed away unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon.  She was born in Manteca and spent her entire life here, except for extended vacations to visit family in New York State.  Carol Jean attended New Haven School and graduated from San Joaquin County High School.

Carol Jean faced many obstacles in her life but always greeted each new day with a smile.  She was an avid lover of animals.  She could tell you anything you wanted to know about any animal and if she didn't know, she would find out.  She loved to meet new people and make friends.

Carol Jean took on the responsibility of keeping abreast of everything that may have an adverse effect on her family and friends, and made sure that we were made aware of it.  She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt and companion.  She will be sorrowfully missed by all of us who loved her.

Carol Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Anna Guillory of  Manteca, CA. She is survived by her sister Anna Marie DiGiorgio, nephew David (Melody) Noceti, grand-nephew Aiden Thoreau Noceti, nephew Robert (Sarah) Noceti, niece Marianna (Phil) Jankowski.  Brother, Mark (Toni) Guillory, niece Angela Guillory, nephew Frank Guillory, nephew Michael Guillory.  Sister, Cynthia Guillory, niece Michelle Russell, grand-niece Leanna Corral, grand-nephew Isaiah Sutfin and grand-nephew Elijah Peeks. P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Guillory family. A visitation will be held on Monday July 16, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. both held at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. Following the services she will be laid to rest at St. John's Cemetery, Escalon, CA.
