In heaven, Carolie joins her adored daughter Tamie Lyn Osborne Wengel, her parents, and siblings Robert and Larry Scharmann.
Carolie leaves behind the love of her life and best friend Thomas “Tom” Osborne of Manteca/Ripon, her daughters, Terry Souza and Lisa Martin, both of Ripon, and one sister Lee Ann Miculinich (Ron) of Manteca. Carolie was blessed with eight grandchildren, Alyssa Valencia (Scott), Ashley Souza, Aimee Souza, Justyn Martin, Jacob Martin, Kody Wengel, Kyle Wengel, Kory Wengel. In addition, she has five great- grandchildren, Madyson Valencia, Ty Valencia, Kyle Wengel Jr, Stella Ruiz and Kinzleigh Wengel.  Carolie  also leaves niece and nephews Mandi Seelye (Matt) and Jason and Greg Miculinich (Alyssa).
Carolie was a long time resident of Manteca, recently moving to Ripon. Manteca was home for Carolie. She attended Castle Grammar School and graduated from Manteca High School in the class of 1959. She would go on to become a hairdresser and then later a Realtor. She was always an involved parent being a part of 4-H, Parent Club President at New Haven School, Brownie leader and Manteca High School P.T.A. active member. After retirement she continued her passion as a grandmother attending her grandchildrens and great grandchildrens academic and sporting events. She was always very involved in her family leading a positive example of love and family values.
She and Tom where inseparable.  They enjoyed their RV and traveling. She loved visiting lighthouses all over the country as they were one of her great loves.  She also enjoyed knitting and sewing.  Carolie was like no other, she was willing to do anything for a friend or anyone in need. Whether it be a helping hand or just a shoulder to cry on. Carolie was full of life, a “fire cracker”. She loved to the fullest and her kindness was felt by all. She had many, friends all of whom she loved and she enjoyed visiting and spending time with all.
The testimony of love that she shared with Tom was like no other. They were proud of the 53 years they shared and together they looked like newlyweds.
She was adored by her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
