   Carolyn Fay Brown, age 71, entered into God’s arms on February 11, 2015 after a long illness.
   Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Brown, her stepmother Lois Weinmaster, her older sister Diane Gwinnup, and her nephew Billy Weinmaster.
   Mrs. Brown is survived by her brother Bill Weinmaster; sister Terri Peterson; her daughters Pamma and Dawn Priddy, and son Harold Dean Yates; her two stepchildren Jan and Sonia Brown and her grandchildren Kenny and Jacob Yates and Donnie Knowles; also by her two great grandchildren AJ and Flora Bella of Hollister and seven nieces and nephews.
   Carolyn graduated from Manteca High School in 1961. While attending high school, she worked for the El Ray Theater as a ticket taker and an usher. She worked for Sharpe’s Army Depot for 27 years and at Tracy Defense Depot for four years where she was awarded the Silver Eagle Award for her 31 years of service. Carolyn also received several awards for her innovative ideas and she was greatly appreciated for her dedication to her job.
   Carolyn loved spending time with her longtime best friend Marie Silvers. We are eternally grateful to Marie for her love, devotion and time that she gave freely to our mother.
   Carolyn also loved reading, bowling, fishing and most of all, hanging out with her grandchildren. She also had a passion for helping her late husband, Kenneth Brown, work on restoring cars.
   Carolyn was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 1051 in Ripon, CA, where she was awarded the Gold Circle for her service. She was also a member of the Toastmasters, winning several awards for her speeches.
   Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was an amazing woman, she will be greatly missed.
   A celebration of Life for Carolyn will be held on March 16, 2015 from noon to 2pm at the VFW Post 1051, 12455 West Ripon Road, Ripon, CA 95366. Please come and celebrate Carolyn’s life with us.
